Slightly Stoopid Comes to Myxed Up Denver
When Slightly Stoopid Comes to Denver They Shop at Myxed Up Creations
This past weekend one of our favorite bands, Slightly Stoopid, made their way to Colorado for their annual tour stop at Red Rocks. On the day before playing their sold out show at Red Rocks on Saturday August 6th for the Return of the Red Eye Tour, the band made a little pit stop at their favorite smoke shop in Denver, Myxed Up Creations.
It was a thrill seeing frontmen Miles and Kyle emerge from their luxury shuttle joined by other bandmates DeLa, Paul and Andy. We also had the pleasure of hosting the CEO of Silverback Music, and a man hugely instrumental in the success of Slightly Stoopid, Jon Phillips.
It was fun chatting with them while they made their way around the shop to check out some of the goodies. Miles needed a replacement bowl piece for a water pipe. Tour life can be rough sometimes I guess. A couple of the guys were scoping out rigs and gas masks while Kyle grabbed some CBD's for a family friend. The highlight of their visit was without a doubt when we were able to present them each with individually customized Can vaporizers, detailed with artwork unique to the tour, as well as corresponding imagery of each member of the band. The guys appeared to be honestly touched by the gesture, just as we were incredibly honored to have them stop by the shop and pay us a visit. They made sure to sign some autographs and shake some hands before they moved on for the night. And what a great scene to see Miles waving his Myxed Up shopping bag at us with excitement as he left the store stocked up with Myxed Up gear and a smile on his face.
The next day we were able to witness these musical masterminds in action at the Return of the Red Eye show at Red Rocks. The show also featured SOJA, Zion I, and Slightly Stoopid's fellow Silverback Music artists The Grouch and Eligh. Member of the Myxed Up family, as well as our Myxed Up App contest winner were invited to party backstage in the VIP area hosted by Yolo Rum and the Larry Ulibarri Uncensored Podcast. It goes without saying that it was an amazing night for us and everyone involved, and a night that won't soon be forgotten.
